Description of the activity carried out
The lesson deals with active European citizenship. First of all, it allows to recall what the European Union is and what makes it unique as well as the countries that are members. What does "being a European citizen" mean? What are the rights and duties related to this status? After watching a video, students are asked to collaborate and create a mind map in groups summarizing what a "European citizen" is.
