Business cards (Romania)

Description of the activity carried out
This is an activity in which students learn more about their classmates by filling in some forms in the shape of business cards. Each student is given a form—a business card—with sections to be filled in: memorable date and place, hobbies and a word that describes the student the best. Students fill in the sections, go around the class to find who they have in common different preferences with or what interesting information about others they can find and then they discuss. The discussion is focused mainly on the feelings they had when they discovered mutual or interesting preferences about their classmates. The students were extremely interested in the activity, in finding out how much they had in common with their classmates or how interesting their interests were. They highly appreciated the fact that this activity would help them be more connected in the future.
