Senses (Romania)

Description of the activity carried out
The activity in this video was meant to make students aware of the different ways in which they perceive reality. The students were given handouts with a grid with five columns, each corresponding to one of the five senses. Then the teacher read a series of words, and the students had to place them in the column they found the most appropriate to the sense they could relate the word to. In the end of the activity, the students, organized into groups, compared their findings. In the discussion that followed the activity, the students pointed out that they managed to know themselves better, to find interesting facts about their colleagues, and more importantly, to see how differently they perceive reality.
