Send a message (Romania)

Description of the activity carried out
A video about non-verbal communication through physical messages. The teacher explains the rules of the activity to the students: they will have to replicate a movement and to convey it to all the students in a line. After the movement has been conveyed, the students share the movements they have conveyed and see what went wrong and why. For the second part of the activity, the students, standing in a circle, have to draw an object on the back of the student next to them. The “drawing” is then revealed and the students can see whether they have understood the “drawing” or not. At the end of the activity the students analyse what went wrong and why. The purpose of the activity is to enable students notice how important it is to send clear messages, even though they are non-verbal.
